The deadline to apply for the NEET UG 2022 exam has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can now apply for the NEET test on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in – until May 20, 2022. Below are the updated dates, steps, and direct link to apply.

As per NTA’s notification, the deadline for registering for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has been extended to May 20, 2022, on popular demand by students. The deadline specified earlier was May 15, 2022.

Students can register for NEET 2022 on NEET’s official website, neet.nta.nic.in. It is also to be noted that since the date of registering for the exam has been pushed, the final day to pay the registration fees has also been revised To 20 May 2022. Therefore, the students can register for the exam till 9 pm on 20 May 2022 and pay the registration fees till 11:50 pm on the same date.

The exam date for NEET UG 2022 though, remains unchanged and is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2022. The exam date has not changed despite the registration deadline being pushed and students’ requests for NEET postponement. How to Apply for NEET UG Exam in 2022

1. Candidates must go to neet.nta.nic.in, which is the official website of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test.
2. Click the link that says ‘Registration for NEET-UG 2022’ on the homepage. (A direct link is provided below.)
3. Click ‘New Registration’ or input your login information.
4. Complete the NEET application form, upload the required documents, and pay the fees.
5. You can now submit your NEET 2022 application.
6. After submitting the form, save and print a copy for future reference.

According to sources, the NTA has received over 11 lakh applications for the NEET 2022 exam. It should be mentioned that about 16 lakh individuals applied for NEET UG 2021 in the previous year, making it one of the largest registrations ever.

As a result of the NEET-UG 2022 deadline extension, aspirants now have an additional 4-5 days to apply for the exam. It is recommended that you apply ahead of time to avoid any last-minute issues.
