Norka-Roots conducts recruitment drive in Kerala

Norka-Roots, the government of Kerala’s umbrella organisation for non-resident Keralites, has announced a recruitment drive for eligible candidates for employment abroad in the year 2023. The drive, titled Norka Uk Recruitment 2023, will be held in all districts of Kerala through the e-district portal. Eligible candidates can apply online through the e-district portal, following which a selection process will be conducted to identify those who will be sent abroad for employment.

The managing director of Norka-Roots, Mr A.C Moideen, stated that this recruitment drive is an opportunity for eligible candidates to seek employment overseas and make a better future for themselves and their families. He also stated that Norka-Roots will ensure that eligible candidates are offered jobs matching their qualifications and skills. The drive will endeavour to place candidates in countries such as the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, among others. Candidates can apply online through the e-district portal from December 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2022.

Eligibility criteria for Norka Uk Recruitment 2023

To be eligible for Norka Uk Recruitment 2023, candidates have to fulfil certain criteria. Firstly, they should be between the ages of 18 to 45 years. Secondly, they should be a citizen of Kerala or have roots in Kerala. Thirdly, candidates should have passed Class 10 and above. Fourthly, candidates should have proficiency in the language of the country where they plan to be employed. Fifthly, candidates should have a medical certificate to prove that they are physically fit for employment abroad.

Candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 500 to apply for the recruitment drive through the e-district portal. The recruitment process will include a written test and an interview. Selected candidates will be offered employment contracts with companies abroad for a period of two years, which can be extended for another two years based on performance. The recruitment drive offers a great opportunity for candidates to work abroad and earn a livelihood, while also contributing to the economy of Kerala through remittances.
