Today Announcement Home Minister Amit Shah amended the rule of CAA and passed the CAA 2024 Rules. The central government on Monday 11th March 2024 notified the rules for the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019. About CAA Act –
India passed a law on December 11, 2019, known as the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). For those members of certain religious minorities who were persecuted in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, or Pakistan, the Citizenship and Immigration Act (CAA) offers (demonstrates) a route to Indian citizenship. The CAA lists the following faith groups as eligible: Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Hindus, and Parsis.
Critics of the CAA contend that it violates the secular principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution and is discriminatory because it removes Muslims from the list of eligible communities.

CAA Process for Application Submission 2024 Online
Here we are provided the some online processes, for CAA Registration. Under section 6B of the Citizenship Act, 1995, Individuals (persons) looking for registration process must do as follows.
Submission of Application Form – The application form will be submitted electronically by all applicants to the Empowered Committee through the district-level committee designed by the Central government portal online.
Acknowledgment – The acknowledgment form IX is electrically generated online.
All document Verification – The District level committee will verify all documents submitted along with the applicant through the provided date and time schedule.
Oath of Allegiance – After the document verification, the designated officer administers the oath under the Citizenship Act 1995 to the applicant. The signed oath along with the verified document is forwarded electronically to the committee
Refusal Consideration – After the further process, if the applicant fails to appear in person despite reasonable opportunities. The consideration of refusal will fail.
