Educational Qualifications
- Candidates should have Passed 10th, 12th class, Post Graduate/ Diploma/ Engineering/ B.Pharma/Graduate/ D.Pharam/ Nursing/ ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/Institution.
- For all the above posts except Diesel-Motor Mechanic, Driver, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Jr Draughtsman, Jr Q C Inspector (Mech), Jr Q C Inspector (Elec), Millwright Mechanic, Paramedics, Pharmacist, Rigger, Safety Inspector, Security Sepoy, and Storekeeper candidates should have minimum one-year experience in Shipbuilding Industry.
- The candidates who have worked for any of the above posts in the MDL/ Shipbuilding Industry for a minimum of one year has passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate/ Diploma in different trades will be considered eligible for that particular post.

Age Limit
- Candidates’ age limit should be Minimum 18 years & Maximum 38 years.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per rules.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on the Online Written Test, Experience & Trade/ Skill Test.
- The candidates will be called for a “Written Test” based on the information provided by them in the Online application form. The Detailed scrutiny of documents of the shortlisted candidates will be done at the time of the Trade/skill Test.
- Based on the performance of the Written Test & Experience marks wherever applicable the candidates would be called for Trade/Skill Test. The candidates would be called for Trade/skill Test in the ratio of 1:3 in case the vacancies are more than 100, 1: 4 in case the vacancies are between 50 to 100, and 1:5 in case the vacancies are less than 50.
- The final merit list would be prepared based on combined marks of the Online Written Test, Experience & Trade/Skill Test.
