The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has recently announced the registration process for their upcoming Special Housing Scheme in 2023. The registration will begin on 2nd January, 2023 and will continue for a month. The DDA aims to provide affordable housing to the people of Delhi through this scheme.
The registration can be done through the official website of DDA, www.dda.gov.in. The applicants will have the option to select their preferred location, type of flat, and payment plan. The Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the DDA Special Housing Scheme 2023, the applicant should be at least 18 years old and should not own any other property in Delhi. The applicant’s annual income should not exceed ₹2 lakh for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, ₹5 lakh for the Low-Income Group (LIG) category, and ₹8 lakh for the Middle-Income Group (MIG) category.
The DDA has also specified that the applicant must have a valid PAN card and Aadhaar card. In case of joint ownership, the co-applicants should also fulfill the eligibility criteria. The DDA has warned that any false information provided during registration will result in disqualification from the scheme.
The Selection Process
After the registration process is complete, the DDA will conduct a draw of lots to select the eligible applicants. The selection process will be transparent and fair, with no influence from any external party. The DDA has also stated that the scheme aims to provide affordable housing to the people of Delhi, and not for investment purposes.
The selected applicants will be informed through SMS and email, and will have to go through a verification process before the allotment of the flat.
