IIT Delhi’s Collaborates with CISCE to introduce Robotics, AI in Curriculum

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) has signed an MoU with CISCE to design a special curriculum for ICSE-affiliated schools that will help promote technologies like AI, Robotics, Blockchain, and Machine Learning & Data Science among Gen Z.

This has been done in line with the New Education Policy, and IHFC(I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics) has also confirmed that work is in progress to bring about a change in curriculum for other STEM courses too.

Apart from designing the curriculum for the 21^st Century Skills, the CEO of IHFC also established they are going to assist and guide more than 2700 schools affiliated with CISCE in implementing them.

“The CISCE has always strived to provide its students with a wide variety of subject choices, catering to their interests and capabilities, while also addressing contemporary requirements, and it is with this objective in mind that the CISCE plans to introduce the subjects – Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the ICSE (Classes 9 AND) and ISC (C) levels,” CISCE Secretary Gerry Arathoon said. The first batch of students learning these subjects would write their first exams in 2025.
