The first glimpse at Ola electric car: 500 km range, dashes to 100 kmh in 4 secs

At a virtual event held in conjunction with India’s Independence Day, Aggarwal, speaking about the new Ola Electric Car, declared, “This is the most ambitious automotive project ever undertaken in India.”

The much anticipated Ola Electric electric car, which is anticipated to debut in 2024, was unveiled on Monday. The automobile will have a 500 km range. On this occasion, Ola Electric also announced a new battery and an S1 scooter.


At a virtual event held in conjunction with India’s Independence Day, Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal declared, “This is the most ambitious vehicle project ever attempted in India.”
According to Aggarwal, the Ola Electric car will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and have a 500-km range on a single charge.

“We think that India must take control of 25% of the global automotive market and serve as the global epicenter of the EV revolution. We will be developing the EV paradigm for the rest of the globe as we construct for India “Aggarwal remarked.

The business claimed that the vehicle would be the sportiest vehicle ever produced in India with an all-glass roof and be “designed to deliver a drag coefficient of less than 0.21.” According to the firm, it will include one of the most cutting-edge computers ever installed in a 4W, assistive driving functions, and keyless and handleless doors, among many other features.


According to the firm, the car will also include Ola’s very own MoveOS software and customers will be able to receive regular feature updates via OTA for the duration of their ownership.
The electric vehicle will have an all-glass canopy and world-class assistance features for driving. According to the CEO of Ola, it won’t have a handle or a key.

The company stated that it would introduce over 100 hyperchargers in the key 50 cities.
A brand-new Ola S1 scooter with a premium style was also introduced by Ola, at an initial price of Rs 99,999. Reservations for the brand-new Ola S1’s early access started at Rs 499.
