HTET Notification 2022: On September 16, 2022, the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) issued the HTET 2022 Notification. On September 17, 2022, the HTET 2022 Application Process will get underway. The HTET 2022 Application Form must be submitted before September 27, 2022. The 12th and 13th of November 2022 will see the administration of the HTET 2022 Exam.

What is HTET?
The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a state-level exam that is administered annually by the Board of School Education, Haryana. It is used to certify teachers for PRT, TGT, and PGT positions in public and private schools throughout the state. The Haryana TET is the required state-level recruitment test used to choose teachers for government-run schools in the state of Haryana. Candidates for the Haryana TET are those who wish to work as teachers in the state’s Level-1 PRT (classes I through V), Level-2 TGT (classes VI through VIII), and Level-3 PGT (Lecturer) institutions. All applicants who meet the HTET eligibility requirements are qualified to take the exam.

HTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher(PRT) (Class I -V):
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
(i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education).
OR
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary/Graduation/Post graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
- HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII):
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

HTET 2022 Admit Card
The HTET admit card to the eligible candidate will be issued by the authority of the Board of School Education, Haryana two weeks prior to the exam date. The admit card for all levels i.e. PRT, TGT, PGT will be separate. If a candidate applied for 2 or 3 levels, their admit card will be different for each level. The admit card will be uploaded on their official website, the candidate has to download it and it is mandatory to carry the admit card in the exam hall along with his/her valid ID proof to enter the exam hall.
How to download HTET Admit Card?
- Step 1: Visit the official website of BSEH.
- Step 2: Enter the registration number and password.
- Step 3: Click on “Print Admit Card”.
- Step 4: Take a print of the hall ticket for the HTET exam.
Important Instructions FOR HTET 2022 Admit Card:
- The Admit Card should be a colour printout only. Black & White printouts will not be accepted.
- Please affix paa ssport-size coloured photo attested by Gazetted officer as uploaded at the time of registration on the admit card.
- Candidates should bring the following items: 1. Coloured Admit Card of HTET. 2 Black / blue ball point pen. 3. Confirmation Page(Centre Copy). 4 Original Photo Identity as given during registration/ as mentioned on Admit card.
- A copy of the Confirmation page (centre copy) will be submitted at the examination centre with the same coloured photograph as uploaded at the time of registration duly attested by a gazetted officer.
- Candidate shall affix their LEFT thumb impression and put his/her signature on the confirmation page (Centre copy) in front of the Invigilator/supervisor.

To qualify for HTET 2022 out of 150 marks, the candidate has to score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify for the exam.

Validity Period Of HTET :
The validity period of the HTET qualifying certificate is a lifetime. HTET validity was extended by the Ministry of Education from 7 years to life with retrospective effect from 2011. A candidate who had cleared HTET in the last 10 Yrs (From 2011) will issue a new TET certificate to them for lifetime validity. More than 2.5 lakh candidates will get benefit from HTET this decision.
HTET 2022 Answer Key
The answer key of HTET 2022 for all levels will be going to release after the HTET exams. The answer key for every level of the exam is released in a separate PDF. The answer key is the list of all the right answers considered by the authorities to evaluate the response OMR sheet of all the candidates.

How to challenge HTET Answer Key 2022?
If a candidate is not satisfied with the answer suggested in the answer key, then he can object to the answer key by filling out the application form. In case students want to make a challenge against the Answer Key published, they are required to submit their challenge on the official website.
- Candidates can submit challenges against Answer Key only once for each paper.
- They have to pay Rs.200/- for each challenge.
- If any challenge regarding the questions submitted by the candidate is found to be correct, the board will refund the challenge amount to the candidate.
