Hello! This is Gagan from Gag4n. Its been long since I have posted out anything up here majorly because of me being getting busy. These days I don’t really get enough time to keep you posted. But I had one announcement to make up.
Building out Gag4n.com
I don’t really reveal out about myself on any of the social sites or even my websites. I believe its been quite a time since I started out this blog. I remember purchasing out this domain in March 2020. Yes I remember out dates quite well at times :p. And from then I have posted a lot of content I believe here on this blog and a couple of another ones as well. The blogging journey has been absolutely fantastic going on from writing on posts in various genres and topics. More like living on to the nature of the site,i.e, Sharing is Caring. And that is what I did, I shared a lot of content without having on to know what to focus on, heads up if you want to be professional blogger you need to know your blog’s niche. Its quite necessary. Okay a lot of past information has been put up. Most of the readers who might have ever come across this site and if they were anytime benefited from any the post I am thanking you deep down from my heart. Since I really great to help out the unknowns. And the best part was to getting people share your damn site to you for any post, just because they didn’t know the website is yours. It really felt fascinating at that point of time to me when a random Telegram user shared out my site as a reference to a topic, the interesting part I had nothing in common with poster, it was just we shared a common TG group.
The Growth and the Decline
Readers at gag4n.com, Man you guys really made me believe that I can write! And share my voice to the masses. Let me just share a stat… Alright thank you google for deleting out the Search Console Insights Data, idk where you are heading. As far as I can remember there was a time when you people just made 10K hits a day on this website. Thanks to a lot of people who came up in to collab out to write and post on this website.
Everything was going good then suddenly The Lord Google decides to flag the site in the “Google Core Update for Search Engines” and hit me hard. That websites that used AI to post up content were unaffected but several sites and this time including this one were overnight removed from various organic rankings. It just felt so bad that all the motivation went downhill to post new content up here with various other people.
All my site ever gained traffic was organically from Google Search and that is where the niche comes into play. Remember I said you at the start that if you want to start out as a blogger professionally, always have some niche in your mind. That will help you build out a community from the readers you get in.
And since the site was multi categorized, catering out to various sorts of posts, I never got in to go full fledged for building out a small community out of it.
The Final Nail
I was keeping up this site live even after having visits no where close to what I used to get just because I had in a lot of content that were written from scratch by me.
I remember covering about topics like Android, Web Deployment, Web Scraping, Earning Money Online via Legitimate Ways and Way More things, that I believed to by my treasure.
But thanks a lot of to me, that migrating out some of my other sites to this production server, gave me a nightmare of life. I corrupted out my Database of not only this site but every other site that I ever owned. But this site had hit me the most. Since the rest of them did have some kinds of backups or were simply insignificant to me. Rather this one was close to my heart.
The technicality was that I had copied out the DBMS running on another sever to this without realizing that I have corrupted out this instance.
Anyways there’s lot I have said out, here’s a bit of announcement for the readers.

Honestly speaking I don’t know how much time I will be able to give in to this website but I will make sure to restore almost all of the posts, but since it will be done manually it would take time.
In the meantime if you are a visitor and want any of the resource that was ever shared on this website which hasn’t been posted here till now, please send me a mail on [email protected] . I won’t let you go empty handed
That’s my promise to you people as the site owner that I will atleast restore whatever I can.
For the developers reading it always have a backup. Just always …. and if you are working in production environment make sure to have backups please!
And if time permits I might even post out new content. If you ever had visited this site before, comment out when you did. You don’t know a single comment can bring up the website back to life!
